Welcome to Reframe and Rewire: Greatness Through Daily Routine. This podcast is designed to alter your mindsets and transform your day-to-day from the second you open your eyes till you close them at night, adapting what I would call a success routine. This series is liable to change your life, and it’s never the big things that you do, but the littlest things you do every day that make the biggest difference, and now onto the podcast. Thank you for joining.

Welcome back to the podcast. As we begin a brand new series today, and in light of the demand I am seeing in our world today for resilience, I’ve decided to do a resilience mastery course in our podcast series, and I’ve really conducted a lot of these in the last two years. As a matter of fact, I would say this is the number one requested training that I’ve offered to large corporate, as well as speaking engagements, and even globally. I have offered this talk to virtual audiences worldwide.

So, I thought it might be nice to go ahead and provide a caption or a segment of this program on my podcast series, and I hope it’s helpful to you. I know a lot of people are struggling with resilience in this day and age, and understanding the guts behind it and what it really takes to become resilient, but also how to manufacture resilience when you’re living in a world with so much coming against you, so much chaos and so much uncertainty, and doubt, and anger, and disappointment, and frustration, and sickness, and disease, and calamity.

I mean, it just seems like there’s never been so many pressures in the world that resilience seems to be just escaping people and drifting farther and farther away rather than becoming something that’s a mainstay. But I want to say this to you before I start this. Of all the things that you could invest in, this is probably the one that will take you the farthest, the fastest because without resilience, we can’t face any challenges head on. In fact, resilience is the key to not only sifting through the garbage of life, but rising above it again, and again, and again, no matter what comes against you.

Now, I want you to think about it this way. Some of the most popular movies that we watch in society, the movies that we seem to cheer and want to watch again, and again, and again, and the ones that rise to the top as terms as best sellers are the ones where people are knocked down, and they get up, and they get knocked down, and they get up, and they knocked down, and it happens over and over again. They’re the ones that really inspire us to keep going, even when the going gets tough.

I hope that you will listen all the way through this series because I have a lot of really solid nuggets that people pay a lot of money for. It’s foundational stuff, practical stuff that you can go out and apply immediately and experience some results. Now, I will say this as any of you who have listened to me for any period of time, it takes a measure of implementation, patience, endurance, determination, and application to get real results. It’s roughly three to four weeks, if you’re real diligent at it.

I would encourage you not to miss any of these episodes because they’re each going to have solid, applicable things that are going to push you forward if you do them. Now, if you don’t do them, then I can’t help you. Nobody can help you. You are the only one that can help you. All the clients that I’ve worked with individually, I always say this to them. I always say, “Look, I provide the tools, but you do the work.” And really, that’s true of any podcast.

I don’t care what podcast you listen to you. If you’re not willing to apply what’s learned, then what’s the point? I mean, it may make you feel good for a sec, or two, or maybe a minute if you’re lucky, but it’s not going to do you any good unless you actually apply it. So, I’m going to give you some applicable things as we walk through this, and I will even include some tools in my podcast notes. I hope that you will use those tools, that you’ll walk away and apply it, and then I would love to hear back from you.

I haven’t done this in a long, long time, but I’m going to invite you to write me and to share what’s happening to you. If you need more tools or you want more tools, I’m going to invite you to ask me for those tools. You can write me at michelle@ipvconsulting.com. That’s I for integrity, P for people, V for vision. So, michelle@ipvconsulting.com, or you can go ahead and respond on any of my social media accounts. I’m on Facebook. I’m also on LinkedIn. I’m not on Twitter anymore. I got rid of that a long time ago. I just can’t keep up with all the social media accounts, so I’ve got it narrowed down to just two of them. I’m also on Telegram, if you want to write me there, but feel free to reach out.

That’s what I’m here for. I have heard from other listeners in the past, this is a global audience, so I never know who I’m reaching, but I want to dive into this series on resilience, and this is going to be a resiliency course. I hope, again, that you’ll stay with me throughout, and you’ll feel free to offer any feedback that you might have as we walk through this. I am at the six minute mark. I don’t have really time to dig in much further than just to offer you a quick definition before we close out.

A lack of resilience occurs when thoughts and reactions develop into patterns and mindsets that you’re either not willing or able to let go of. I’ll let that sink in for a minute. I’ll repeat it one more time. A lack of resilience occurs when thoughts and reactions develop into patterns and mindsets that we are either not willing or able to let go of, and then we’re going to dive in a little deeper tomorrow. This is Michelle Steffes, Reframe and Rewire. Please share this with others who you feel it may help, and have an amazing day.
